Our guide, Wuthikorn, was excellent - very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole day. The itinerary was well planned and covered so much - from the impressive Wachirathan Waterfall and the highest point of Thailand to the beautiful royal twin pagodas. The highlight for us was definitely having lunch in the hill tribe village at Pa Pong Piang, surrounded by breathtaking terraced rice fields. It felt peaceful and authentic, and the food was delicious! The private SUV was new and very comfortable, and everything was perfectly organized - all admission fees, tickets, lunch, and drinks were included, which made the trip stress-free. We left at 8 a.m. and got back to our hotel around 5:45 p.m., feeling so satisfied and full of great memories. Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, especially during the rice season (mid-July to early November)Posted on Ravee FirtoeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This tour was incredible!! The elephant sanctuary was our favorite thing we did in Chiang Mai - truly a special and unique experience. I would highly recommend!Posted on Shawn PatrickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Boy was an absolute pleasure! I was traveling solo and wanted to learn a bit more about the city, its history, and learn the city a bit. The tour exceeded my expectations! Boy was very knowledgeable and told good stories to help explain what I was seeing. Ended with a stop at the street market and some food (included) - nice bonus! Would definitely suggest!! Also, lgbtq+ friendly.Posted on Kaitlyn KiviTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We originally were going to book Joe for a Chiang Rai trip only, but ended up booking for 3 full days with him after seeing the other tours he had to offer and it was well worth it!! We learned SOO much about thai culture, religion, and customs. He offers unique tour experiences you cannot get from another tour guide! We saw parts and experienced parts of Thailand we would not have seen if not for this tour with Joe. Additionally, Joe tries to make sure your experience is the best by avoiding crowds and taking you to the best spots. He even ordered us various thai food dishes that we probably would not have tried otherwise & took us to local places!! It was so much fun On another note he also took over 350 pictures and videos for my boyfriend and i which are going to be memories we can have and look back on forever. I 100% would book with Joe again or even just to meet up with him when im back in thailand again because he is overall just a great person that clearly loves what he does! On another note - My boyfriend had questions related to exporting plants (nothing to do with our tours) and Joe went out of his way to contact some of his friends to find out more information for him. Joe also speaks english very well & even taught us some thai :)Posted on Elizabeth ChervenakTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An Amazing Day Trip with Boy – Perfect for Families! We had an incredible day trip outside of Chiang Mai with Boy, and it was one of the highlights of our entire trip! Boy picked us up in his spacious and comfortable personal vehicle, which was perfect for our family of six. He took us to a unique cafe where the kids had a blast playing with goats and rabbits—so many great photo opportunities! Next, we had a fantastic interaction with elephants, learning how to make their vitamins and food. Boy’s knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. He then arranged an unforgettable local lunch, introducing us to a variety of new dishes from different Thai cuisines. We were able to try so many things we wouldn’t have known to order on our own! The day finished with a trip to the stunning sticky waterfalls, where Boy hiked with us and made the experience even more enjoyable. Having him as our guide was a huge bonus, not only for his insightful commentary but also for his photography skills, capturing some amazing family moments. Boy’s ability to engage our kids (ages 7-14) was exceptional, keeping them interested while making sure we all got the most out of the experience. His English was perfect, and he went above and beyond to ensure our day was memorable. Highly recommend Boy for anyone visiting Chiang Mai with family!Posted on Jeff J. We had laughs and exchanged stories about our countries. Truly a VIP experience. We highly recommend him and Boy for a unique tour.Posted on Georgi MihovTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had two full days of temple touring in and around Chiang Mai with Joe. His English is perfect, and he is a wealth of knowledge on Thai culture, Lan Na history and Buddhist traditions. He provided us with a lot of information about each temple and showed us around some less touristy but historically significant and beautiful temples in Lamphun. He also had very good recommendations for lunch restaurants and assisted us with deciphering the menus, etc. Joe also drove, his vehicle is comfortable and he is a very calm and safe driver. Highly recommend.Posted on Juerg BalsigerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. With Boy it’s Like travel with friends. Boy took exceptional care of our 10 person group during three separate Chiang Mai excursions. What a wonderful and personal introduction to Northern Thai and Lanna culture. Boy was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible in how he coordinated our adventures. His genuine warmth and personal values of sharing were always on display. While we had made many plans in advance…Boy was able to read our group and improvise along the way. Where to start…we saw beautiful temples, elephants, waterfalls, and visited a Karen refugee village. All along the way Boy explained culture, symbolism and religious traditions of the area. Ok…are you looking for a food tour. Do yourself a favor and look no further. Boy provided a wonderful food experience hitting many of the well known “foodie” stops that you may recognize from Netflix or YouTube as well as local gems mostly unvisited by the tourist crowds. Sensing that we were an adventurous crowd…again improvising along the way…a bag of fried silkworms suddenly appear. Omg we were all so full. To wrap this up…do yourself a favor and book a tour (or three) with Joe & Boy travel.
